Types of Lefton Bricks
Lefton bricks are produced in different types with different colors and sizes, the types of which are:

Small Lefton brick (small mold): Usually with dimensions of 5×10×21 cm, used for interior cladding.
Large Lefton brick (large mold): With dimensions of 7×10×21 cm, used for load-bearing walls and sheds.
Iraqi Lefton brick: This type of brick is usually produced in larger dimensions (23*11*7 cm).
4-sided brick: All its sides are smooth and uniform and is used for single-walled walls (10 cm) where both sides are visible.
3-sided brick: One side is slightly rougher for better adhesion to mortar and is used for thicker walls (20 and 35 cm).
Quality of perforated bricks
Perforated bricks are produced in three different qualities, the quality of which depends on the quality of the soil used for construction and the method of construction. The types of quality grades of perforated bricks are:

Premium Lefton Brick: Premium Lefton Brick is made in a fully automatic way, and human labor and traditional methods play no role in its production. The clay used for it is also of the best quality.
First-grade Lefton Brick: A combination of automatic and traditional methods is used to produce Grade 1 Lefton Brick, and human labor is also involved in its production.
Second-grade Lefton Brick: About 90% of the process of producing Grade 2 perforated bricks is done manually and traditionally, and after molding, they are left in the sun to dry instead of in a kiln.
